Any favorite co-op games? Any generation.

My favs include Turtles in Time, Goof Troop, and Crash Bash. All different styles of course.

Crash Bash is new to me. I'll need to check it out.

For my money, I think besides the ones you listed, Darius Twin and Halo 1 hold special places in my heart for co-op.

Goof Troop! Wow, that brings me back. Here's my list:
Halo 1
Super Smash Bros. Melee/brawl
Twister (Naked)
Boom Blox is good
Darius Twin is fun, but it's one of those games that makes you so angry when the person you're playing with keeps snatching up all the items (I'm looking at YOU, Dave) (though I may have been guilty of that once or twice)

Borderlands is actually really good Co-op. The loot system is satisfying, and can create jealousy (which means it is working).

As for classic gaming: I like the tag team Mortal Kombat matches, and tag team WWF/WCW matches. Aggression inducing.

So if we include just multiplayer games in this list then yes - we used  to play wrestling. Also, Mario Party the First - stayed up all night playing that game. The mini games were awesome and still are!

Not my fault that I'm awesome at being better.

As per Borderlands. I happened to pick up a four-pack when it was on Steam super sale. Jacob has one copy. Steven will have one as soon as he gets a decent computer. One is available for purchase. And finally, the last copy is saved for a special occasion.

I'd like to also nominate Drakken for the SNES. One person controls the game. The second is needed for commentary since the game makes it impossible to figure out what you're supposed to do.

Drakken. How many hours did you and I put into that game just trying to figure out what the hell was going on? Mode-7 at its finest, eh Dave?

That game wasn't even Mode 7. I also found out when double checking that I misspelled it too. It's Drekkhen.

I was able to pick up all the DLC and the game for 10 bucks on Steam. The game may be cheap at retail, but the DLC doesn't go down in price.

I've never been able to play an FPS on the PS3 controller anyway. I always hated the Dual Shock sticks. They are to shooters what the 360 D-Pad is to fighters.
